Montana born and raised. I grew up surrounded by hayfields, irrigation ditches, chickens, a dog or two, barn cats, a few horses, a number of cattle and neighbors who lived miles away. Along with my parents, brother and sister, I celebrated daily life, Norwegian and German heritage, Sunday dinners and holidays with a denim shirt wearing grandpa, two sweet grandmothers, and a loving extended family.
With a strong small-town foundation, I achieved diplomas, taught in a close-knit small community, sought dreams I didn’t know I had, and after a lot of single years became a wife and mother. From my country life childhood through my now empty nest stage, I have loved cooking for family, writing, creating books, albums, cards and decorations using photos, stamps, and beautiful papers to express the moments of this thing called life.
